He literally outlines secrets. Not flash in the pan stuff, but actual applications from his own two comma club journey. He also highlights specific sales funnels that you need in order to build a successful online business. Like, he literally draws them out with stick figures and walks you through the cadence of a high converting sales funnel.

A Two Comma Club company knows their numbers...their financial metrics. I check them every day.
Every. Single. Day.
I have a dashboard that I check sometime multiple times a day. It not only gives me visibility, but allows me to lead my company and team through changes necessary to keep momentum.
And if you know anything about entrepreneurship, you know that momentum is HUGE. Whenever you catch it, keep it. There is no way to keep it if you don't know all of your metrics.
There are tons of metrics that you COULD monitor. But here are the main metrics that I micro-manage:

Once you have these metrics NAILED and you keep them in front of your brain every single day, you're on the right track to get to the Two Comma Club.

This is a universal truth: If you want to go to the next level, you need to get someone from the next level to show you the way. A lot of us call that coaching. You may call that mentoring. Whatever the semantics are you need help from people who have already been where you want to go.

I guess before we get started, I don't know what it means to you, but to me the laptop lifestyle always referred to being your own boss, having the freedom, time and financial freedom, to do what you want to do when you want to do it, and to run a business online that's scalable. You can grow it as large as you'd like. You can keep it as small and manageable as you'd like for it to be.

I've been outside today. It's a beautiful day, beautiful area that I'm sitting in, using my Evernote journal and just sketching out some framework for a new business that I'm starting, a new funnel, sales funnel that I'm launching, if you will. I thought I would do this video just to kind of walk you through and also help me think out loud. If I turn my journal all the way back to its very first page, I started this page July 9th, 2015. I wrote my goals down and those goals were personal. They were professional, and I've achieved those goals.
As a matter of fact, I have demolished those goals. I've actually reset my goals several times since I wrote on the first page of my journal here, and I want to walk you through really the system that I used to get here.
This is actually a system that really no one taught me. I guess you could say it's a culmination of systems, but it's actually simple. It's not sophisticated. It's not convoluted. It's not complicated and it's actually very actionable.
If you want the laptop lifestyle, you've got to use what I call the 1:1:1 system. It's not quite as easy as ABC, but it's pretty close. What I mean is each of those number ones represents a part of the business that's required or something that's required to start the online business that you want.

The first thing that you need to think about is the tool that will get you there. I'll unpack each of these. Each work together. As a matter of fact, I've got a stupid little drawing here. I just drew, it looks like a Pokemon ball, but anyway, it's not. I've never watched a single episode of Pokemon, just for the record. Just for the record.
But, you've got to have a great pool tool, okay? A tool is often times where most people get stuck. For example, ClickFunnels is the tool that I've used to grow a seven figure business in the last nine months. I saw explosive growth but ClickFunnels, at the end of the day, is an online software. It's a software as a service. It doesn't call my customers for me. It doesn't persuade anyone to buy my stuff for me. It doesn't train my coaching clients for me. Second is you need one skill. The skill will accompany your tool and you'll actually be able to get pretty far. As a matter of fact, I would say you could go 10K per month or more in income with just one tool and one skill. You can get to those kind of metrics and that may be all you need. That may be all you need for your goals, your dreams, and what you're trying to do.
Maybe right now you're in a full-time job. Maybe you're in sales. Maybe you're in customer service. Maybe you're working nine to five, whatever that looks like for you. Maybe you just want to have a laptop lifestyle, and for many people who enjoy the laptop lifestyle, you can get away with it with one tool and one skill. Now, which skill do you choose?
Well, that's part of the magic. I'll just name a few skills and what I mean by that. For example, Facebook advertising is a skill. It's not a tool. Facebook is a platform but Facebook advertising, that's a skill that you have to acquire. Google AdWords, YouTube ads, SEO, YouTube SEO, sales, just being able, the art of persuasion, copywriting, gosh, the list goes on. There's a lot of arrows that you can put in your quiver, but what I'm saying is you only need one skill, so don't concentrate on acquiring eight different skills in a six week period, okay? You need one skill, one thing that will take you and the tool that you're using to the next level.
For example, I've used one funnel. Russell Brunson, the founder of ClickFunnels and DotCom Secrets, always says you're one funnel away from a seven figure business, or your dreams, or entrepreneurship, or time freedom, or family freedom, whatever that means to you. You're one funnel away from the laptop lifestyle, and usually eight or nine times out of 10, in my experience being a funnel consultant, being an entrepreneurial coach, is that you don't need a complicated funnel. You don't need a complicated system. You only need one skill that's feeding one tool, that's creating a message movement that is big enough to create the income or the revenue that you need.
I use one funnel to get to a seven figure business. It was literally one Facebook ad that goes to one ClickFunnels landing page that leads to a sales call. That's it, so it was a very simple rudimentary, like it's not something you're going to see in Digital Marketing Lab. It's not something you're going to see in anyone's Infusionsoft Campaign Builder. It is I use ClickFunnels' Actionetics and the Edison Suite, and I just generated a ton of Facebook leads in a particular niche, in a particular vertical. You've got to know your customer is, and I generated a seven figure business in just nine months, and so one skill, one tool.
The last thing I'll say is you need a framework for those tools and those skills to function together inside of. It's kind of like, if you want to go to to the next level, you want a real scalable business, you want to go seven figures or multiple six digits at least per month, you've got to have a framework, something that allows you to scale, because you're going to be able to hustle and white knuckle it with one tool and one skill, but if you don't have a scalable framework then you'll find yourself stuck. That's actually where most six figure entrepreneurs end up finding themselves. Maybe that's enough for you, but for me I wanted to build a seven figure, and I would love to build an eight figure business, and so I'm using the scalable framework in order to get there.
I also am using it to teach other folks how to do it as well, so if you're interested in that framework, I'm doing free sales funnel blueprint calls. I called them blueprint calls, where I can walk you through in 30 minutes the 111 system that I just explained, but more in detail, unpack it, see how you can work smarter for you so that you can work smarter, not harder, so that you can have a laptop lifestyle that you want, okay, because I can't define your goals and your dreams. You need to do that, and once you do that, you'll see that the framework I use works for anybody, no matter what your skill set is now, no matter how experienced you are, regardless of whether you have a college degree or not, this framework is what the pros use.

@channel as we continue to convert leads and customers, keep the following in mind about the would be Lead or Customer.
1. Get them focused on a future based cause or result that is bigger than themselves. Talk to the inner 4th grader. They want to buy the better version of themselves. Period. Greener pastures...
2. Offer them a "vehicle of opportunity" to do so. They are already stuck and you need to remind them of that.
Pain/Agitation.
Then, like the white knight, offer them rescue. The solution. A "way out". A system that will transform their current station into the dream that they have for themselves or their family.
Remember Charlie on Willie Wonka's Chocolate Factory? He represents our customer.
We're Wonka. And we have what they can't produce on their own. We have vehicles of opportunity that can go sideways and squareways and frontways.
Charlie is stuck. He sleeps with 4 grandparents.
Wonka is handing out golden tickets.
There's a reason he booked a call with Wonka.
Therefore, the best way we can help Charlie is for him to buy our product or service.

@channel in relation to the Willie Wonka conversation above...if we(you) want to sell more and retain more customers, the key is to STOP selling an "improvement offer" if you are doing that.
People do not want a way to get bigger, stronger, faster, lighter, smarter. They want a completely NEW opportunity that is alien to what their past baggage or failures.
As we position our offer, it will have lower conversion %'s if we use it as an enhancement. Sales conversions will increase if it is a NEW opportunity that will REPLACE their current condition.
Another scenario is if they are an above average producer with something that is "working" but they are blood thirsty and want more. Then you use our offer as an "opportunity stack" to show them that by adding a new dimension of marketing/lead generation on top of their traditional medium that's working, they then will have the capacity to reach new heights.
